This itinerary covers three iconic parks with game drives, scenic views, and comfortable camping at Kizumba Camp Site and Simba Campsite, all organized by Jo'santos Safaris from Arusha

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

  • Start your safari at 8:39 AM from Arusha, driving to Tarangire National Park.

  • The park covers approx. 2,600 km² of savannah, seasonal swamps, and baobab trees.

  • Wildlife includes Masai giraffes, buffaloes, hartebeest, eland, fringe-eared oryx, gerenuk, and over 550 bird species.

  • Famous for herds of up to 300 elephants, one of the best places in East Africa to see them.

  • Enjoy extensive game drives with a packed lunch.

  • In the evening, drive to Kizumba Camp Site near Lake Manyara for dinner and overnight stay.

  • Kizumba Camp Site offers a rustic camping experience with spacious tents, clean facilities, hot water, electricity, and a peaceful natural environment about 15 minutes walk from Lake Manyara National Park .

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

  • After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park with a packed lunch.

  • En route, stop at Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a breathtaking view of Ngorongoro Crater.

  • Serengeti, meaning “endless plains” in Maasai, features vast grasslands and scattered kopjes where predators often gather.

  • Depending on the season, witness the famous Great Migration of thousands of animals.

  • Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the central Serengeti (Seronera Valley).

  • Dinner and overnight stay at a Serengeti campsite.

Day 3: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

  • After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in the Serengeti to spot any remaining wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard).

  • Picnic lunch at a game viewing spot.

  • Drive towards Ngorongoro Crater.

  • Arrive at Simba Campsite on the crater's edge for dinner and overnight stay with magnificent views of the caldera.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

  • Rise early for breakfast at dawn.

  • Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive with packed lunch.

  • Wildlife includes black rhinos, gazelles, lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, spotted hyenas, rare wild dogs, and over 500 bird species.

  • After the game drive and lunch, drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.
