This itinerary provides a balanced experience of three spectacular parks with comfortable camping at Kizumba Camp Site, allowing immersion in wildlife and nature with Jo'santos Safaris from Arusha .

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

  • Start your safari at 8:30 AM with a drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park.

  • The park spans approximately 2,600 km² with savannahs, seasonal swamps, and giant baobab trees.

  • Wildlife includes Masai giraffes, buffaloes, hartebeest, eland, fringe-eared oryx, gerenuk, and over 550 bird species, plus large herds of elephants (up to 300).

  • Enjoy an extensive game drive in the park with a packed lunch.

  • After the safari drive, proceed to Kizumba Camp Site near Manyara for dinner and overnight stay.

  • Kizumba Camp Site is located about 15 minutes' walk from Lake Manyara National Park, offering a rustic and peaceful environment with basic facilities and a good view of the surrounding nature .

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

  • After breakfast at Kizumba Camp, drive to Ngorongoro Crater.

  • Descend into the crater for a game drive with packed lunch.

  • The crater is the largest caldera in the world and is home to diverse wildlife such as black rhinos, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, lions, leopards, elephants, mountain reedbucks, buffaloes, spotted hyenas, rare wild dogs, and over 500 bird species.

  • After an intensive game drive and picnic lunch inside the crater, drive back to Kizumba Camp Site for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Return to Arusha

  • After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park.

  • The park is renowned for over 400 bird species, primate-filled forests, grassy plains, and the alkaline Lake Manyara, home to flamingo colonies and other water birds.

  • Wildlife includes elephants, giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, impalas, monkeys, and baboons.

  • Enjoy an extensive game drive with a packed lunch.

  • In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha where the safari ends
